Emmanuel Rodriguez

I am a third year PhD student working on direct and inverse modeling of laser-cut meta-materials in the INRIA team ANIMA at Montbonnot-Saint-Martin (Grenoble). My project is part of the European project ADAM2. Under the supervision of Stefanie Hahmann, Mélina Skouras and Georges-Pierre Bonneau.

Research activities

Physics-based modeling. (Neo-Hookean materials with FEM, Kirchhoff rods, Naghdi non linear shells, etc)
Two scale approche using Homogenization or data fitting.
Inverse modeling : optimization of a model's parameters in order to reproduce a given input shape.
Realization of wood, cardboard, paper and plastics laser-cut meta-materials.
Visualisation and design with Blender and Paraview
